Canford is celebrating another year of top class A'level results released today, 19th August 2010.  61% of all results were at 'A' grade, with 18% at the new A* and nearly half the year group achieved an A average.

Success is spread across the subject areas with traditionally strong Maths and Science being matched by English, History, Geography and others.

Pupils are heading to a range of Universities across the UK, with ten winning places to Oxbridge.  Medicine, Business and Economics are among the most popular courses this year.

‘I am extremely proud of these results.  They come from an impressive year group of pupils who have not only achieved academically, but have also excelled in sport, music, drama and the many other extra curricular areas on offer at Canford.  I wish them every success in their future studies.'
