Pupils are celebrating after another year of outstanding A level results.  The results this year have equalled those of last year, which were the best in the School’s history.   Whilst maintaining a 100% pass rate, 58% pupils achieved A grades and 87% achieved AB grades. These figures are likely to rise once all re-marks are complete - the full set of results will be published online in the next few weeks.

•    Once again core subjects such as Maths, the Sciences and English, continue to flourish at Canford.  In Maths and Physics more than 90% of grades were A/B with all A grades in Further Maths.  87% of pupils gained A/B grades in English.

•    Pupils who studied creative subjects also performed exceptionally well; in Art and Design all pupils gained either an A or B grade with 79% achieving an A grade in Art and 91% an A grade in Design.

•    Overall Canford pupils achieved 58% A grades and 87% A/B whilst maintaining a 100% pass rate.

•    At AS level the results were the second best in the School’s history with one pupil gaining 6 A grades and 12 pupils 5 A grades.
