Munich Junior Regatta, 9th-10th May 2009
Canfordians Brianna Stubbs and William Robinson were both medal winners when they represented Great Britain and Canford School at Munich Junior Regatta last weekend.
Both pupils came away with two medals each - Brianna rowed in the Junior Women’s Coxless Pair in the
final, gaining a silver medal whilst William Robinson rowed in the Junior
Men's Eight to win gold. On Sunday Brianna won gold rowing in the Junior
Women’s Coxless Four, whilst William, rowing in the Eight,
also won gold.
The British performance was the best to date and stand the Canford
athletes in good stead for July's final trial for the World Championships to be held in France.
