Canfordian Ed Davidson was recently selected for the Great Britain team
for the Coup de la Jeunesse on Lake Inniscarra, Cork, Ireland. Eleven nations took part with family and friends all turning up to show their support. Ed rowed in the Coxed Four and won two gold medals; Canford rowing coach, Ian Dryden, was also asked to coach the British Eight, which went on to win gold and bronze.
Brianna Stubbs failed in her attempt to gain selection for the Junior team, however she rowed at the National Champioinships recently and won gold in the Women's Junior quadruple scull. Full reports on these events will follow soon.
