The school's new Sixth Form Centre was opened by Canford Governor Michael Wates on 27th April.
The design, taken from an original concept by Estates Bursar Andrew Bruce and worked up by a consultancy team including Trinity Architects, McNaughts (project managers and quantity surveyors) and Smith Foster (structural engineers), was built by Matrod Frampton. Located at the edge of the classroom area, the new building replaces a temporary structure which stood next to the Assembly Hall. The imaginative layout incorporates a mezzanine level and provides sixth formers with both study and social space overlooking the arboretum and Park.
