Trip to Sussex Chemistry Conference

A group of Lower Sixth form pupils traveled to Brighton to attend the Sussex Chemistry Conference recently. Highlights of the day included a talk by Jonathan Hare about his TV series ‘Hollywood Science’, the legendary Professor Kilcoyne from Sunderland University, and Mark Haw talking about his book “MiddleWorld” (the way matter behaves on a scale bigger than atoms but smaller than 'macroscopic' things like grains of sand).
