Last week, to celebrate the opening of Canford's new pool and to raise money for charity, pupils in Marriotts House attempted to swim the distance of the English Channel in the swimming pool.  1416 lengths were shared across the girls in the house, tutors, matrons,  the Housemistress and her family.

The girls took on the challenge to raise money for Aspire, a charity supporting those with a spinal injury, and were delighted to complete the task with over £1000 in sponsorship donations to give to Aspire. Well done to all who took part.
