U15 Cricket National Semi Final v Eton
Canford played Eton in the National Semi-finals yersterday afternoon. A thrilling game in many ways, the result of which saw Eton progress to the final for the second year in succession. Eton battled impressively to reach 240 for 6 wickets from 40 overs. After too slow a start, Will Connor and Ben Upton batted with great maturity; Will Connor made 66 before being caught on the boundary, Ben Upton was not out on 99. Canford reached 205 for 6.
Well done to the players for a great team effort and a big thank you to all the pupils, teachers and staff who came to watch, giving the match such a great atmosphere.
