OCS on Facebook
In 2006, the Old Canfordian Society launched My OCS to provide OCs with a secure forum for staying in touch with one another. Now, in addition to My OCS, OCs can stay in contact with each other by using Facebook. (The group is a closed one, so anyone who would like to join has to either be invited or confirmed by the OC office, who acts as administrator of the site.) NEW - House and team photo website!
We are pleased to announce the launch of a website containing house and team photos from 1955-1990. These are photographs that the Canford Archive obtained from the school's former official photographers, Royal Studios, and which are once again available for purchase. We were delighted to be able to reintroduce 'News Flashes' in the Old Canfordian Magazine last year. Thank you to all OCs who sent in news from all over the globe! We'd really like to continue this as a regular feature of the magazine and we'd also love to receive any pictures you may have so keep sending items to Jenny Bartlett in the Old Canfordian office (ocs@canford.com).
Canford Archives
Frank Ahern, the school archivist, is in the process of indexing the mass of materials that has been collected over the years. He is also hoping to digitise the Canfordian, making it a searchable online resource.

Please remember to keep us up to date with your address so we can send you OC publications and news of events. You can view and amend your details directly on My OCS or, if you prefer, contact the OC Office with your changes.
Keeping in touch with other OCs
Within My OCS you can use the discussion groups to keep in touch with other OCs, and search the Directory for those that we hold contact details for. If you would like to get in touch with another OC and they have chosen to keep their information private on My OCS, please let us know. The Data Protection Act 1998 prevents us from disclosing address details but we are happy to forward your correspondence or inform them that you wish to be in touch.
