Committees & Pupil Voice

At Canford, pupils are encouraged to express their views and ideas on any areas of school life that they feel could be improved upon.  The atmosphere is one of mutual respect and engagement with the benefits of community living so anything that can help make the experience for those who teach, who support and who are taught more positive and fulfilling is welcomed. The Headmaster’s door is always open to a pupil who asks to see him and new ideas are discussed and brought to fruition wherever possible.

The House and School Prefects are an excellent conduit for pupil comments but we have recently further improved the avenues for pupil voice through the creation of the Canford School Council (CSC).
