Drama

The Drama department is based in the Layard Theatre.    It is a lively and very well supported part of school life and pupils can get involved both onstage and off - with lighting, sound, costume design and programme production all available if learning lines is not for you.

Each year there is a major musical production held at the end of the Christmas term which is extremely popular with pupils and parents alike as well as staff and visitors from the local community.    Other productions during the course of the year ensure that every pupil has the chance to get involved in drama in some way while at Canford.
