Food Committee

Each term, separate Junior and Senior Food Committees meet with staff responsible for managing and delivering food to Canfordians (who have very healthy appetites!).   Representatives from each house gather opinion from their peers and are invited to comment on recent menus and offer suggestions for future variations.  There is always useful discussion on likes and dislikes, theme days and ways to reduce wastage as part of the environmental campaign.    Minutes are published on house notice boards for all to see.  Pupils need not wait for a food committee meeting to make a suggestion.  Catering staff are always willing to adapt to ideas wherever possible – if something is not possible (e.g. triple chocolate brownies every day) every attempt to explain why will be made!
