Visiting Canford

Prospective parents and pupils generally make a number of visits to Canford before they decide to join the school.   Canford holds two Open Days each year, in the Spring and Autumn, and these are an ideal opportunity for either a first visit or for those looking to make a House choice once registered.  They are also an informal opportunity to meet the Headmaster and members of staff, and to tour the school and Houses with a pupil.

The next Open Day will be on Saturday 28th April 2012, from 9.30am to 1:00pm which will include a presentation on life in the Sixth Form at 12 noon and short presentations on 13+ entry procedures at 10:30am and 11:15am in the Layard Theatre.  The Headmaster will introduce these presentations with a short address.  Tours of the Boarding and Day houses will be between 9:30am and 12:30pm.

If you wish to attend an Open Day, you do not need to inform Canford School in advance. Simply arrive at a time to suit you but do allow at least 2 hours to look around the school.
