Watersports

With the River Stour running adjacent to the school and Poole Harbour just a short drive away, it is little wonder that many pupils at Canford enjoy some form of water based sport during their time at the school.

In addition to rowing, Canfordians can take advantage of a range of watersports including Canoeing and Kayaking which are on offer to boys and girls all year round and sailing which is an option for all during the Christmas and Summer terms.    Pupils can work towards their RYA sailing certificates and take part in a range of courses.
