Wimborne

Wimborne House is named after Lord Wimborne, from whom Canford was bought in1923 when it became a school. Originally housed in the main building, it moved to its current location in 1996 when it became the third day house. 

Wimborne occupies the ground floor of the 'Monteacute/Wimborne' building adjacent to the main house and conveniently located close to the Music School, Theatre, Sports Centre and Tuck Shop.

    Nick Baugniet

    Nick Baugniet joined Canford in 1997 as Director of Physical Education, having previously taught in both England and Australia. He has a degree in PE from Exeter University, teaches A Level PE and Shell IT, and coaches teams in a variety of sports. He plays the guitar and enjoys mountain walking. He is married to Gill and has two young sons.
