Nick joined Canford in 1997 as Director of Physical Education, having previously taught in both England and Australia. He is responsible for both A Level and GCSE courses in PE, also teaches Shell IT and coaches teams in a variety of sports.
MARK BURLEY - DIRECTOR OF SPORT

Mark has been Director of Sport at Canford School since 2007. After starting his career as a lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Mark arrived at Canford and successfully established and managed the Sports Centre. From the outset he coached rugby, leading the school to success in the Rosslyn Park 7s tournament and then becoming Master in charge of Rugby for ten years. Mark played first class rugby for Moseley and Pontypool and is one of only a handful of teachers to achieve the RFU Level IV coaching award. Within the A Level PE curriculum Mark teaches the Historical & Contemporary syllabus and also teaches in the History department.
NATASHA WILSON - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SPORT
BSc Hons, Sport Science, PGCE (University of Brighton)
Educated at Millfield, Natasha joined Canford in 2015 following 17 years in school sport at Clayesmore, King Edward’s School, Witley and Epsom College. During her schooldays she was a member of the 1st Swimming, Tennis and Netball teams and represented Dorset Ladies in Tennis and Somerset in Tennis, Cross-Country, Swimming, Athletics and Netball. In her coaching career she has seen pupil success at County, District and National levels.
