Autumn Concert

Our talented musicians took to the stage for Canford’s Autumn Concert on Friday 14th November, delighting both the live audience and those watching via livestream. They delivered an exciting and varied programme featuring performances from the Orchestra, Concert Band, Wind Orchestra, Salisbury House Trio, Cantabile Choir, String Quartet, and Big Band.

Director of Music, Will Ings said:

We were thrilled to host our first big concert of the year, an event which featured all our main big instrumental ensembles and a couple of vocal groups, too, for good measure. The pupils played and sang brilliantly, encapsulating the purposeful engagement that we as a school value so highly. Music ranged from a concerto movement, to folk music and much in between and the concert finished with the toe-tapping sounds of the Big Band, foreshadowing the Jazz Concert on February 6th, which is our next large-scale event in the Concert Hall. A huge well done to all involved!
