The annual Trafalgar Night Dinner was held on Thursday 16th October in The Great Hall to celebrate the achievements of the Canford Combined Cadet Force (CCF). As ever it was a superb and very memorable evening, traditionally commemorating The Battle of Trafalgar on 21st October 1805. Attended by officers, cadet NCOs, and their parents it was a superb opportunity to present several awards. The Canford teams in the Rifles Cup and Pringle Trophy competitions both won trophies, with the Army Detachment regaining the cup for the 4th time in seven years. We were also able to celebrate the dedication of Rob Hooker for his long standing service to the contingent and Ten Tors teams, spanning three decades.
Many thanks to the catering team who provided us with such an enjoyable meal and to all those staff who made such a memorable evening for the cadets.
