This Summer, Canford will once again be running its popular sports courses. The courses are aimed at boys and girls in Years 5 - 11 and are led by Canford specialist sports coaches alongside external coaching expertise.
For the Summer, there are two course options to choose from – a Specialist Sports Academy for those in current Years 5 - 11 and a Multi Sports Course for current Years 5 - 7. These will run from Monday 12th – Thursday 15th August.
The Specialist Sports Academy allows pupils to focus on developing their skills in a particular sport – this year a choice of Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Rowing, Golf, Tennis, and a new addition to the programme, Athletics. As well as dedicated coaching sessions, during the four days they will also have the chance to take part in additional sports activities making use of the school's excellent facilities and 250 acres of grounds.
Meanwhile, the Multi Sports Course will be offering the chance to take part in a range of different activities each day making use of the school’s facilities such as the climbing wall and indoor pool. There will be a number of activities on offer each day plus a sport session.
Course fees include lunch each day, snacks and refreshments.
