Shell (Year 9) visit to Fishbourne Roman Palace

Following their Shell (Year 9) visit to the remarkable Fishbourne Roman Palace, the largest Roman residence ever discovered in Britain, pupils were challenged to write an article about the fire which destroyed it, using inspiration from the devastating fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Drawing on their learning from the visit, pupils set out to write detailed articles.
