Outside the Classroom

Studying Geography at Canford gives our pupils many learning opportunities, both in and out of a classroom environment.

At present, we undertake several days of fieldwork during the Sixth Form course to local destinations and London. However, with the new syllabus, we are also looking at some new destinations and a wider range of provision. We also encourage all geographers to find out more about the Partnership Trips which give fabulous geographical experiences to locations such as Ghana, Argentina and India.

We also participate in the local Geographical Association events which also offers conferences and events around the area.
