While not the beginning of the Easter Term today that we were all hoping for, we are still very excited to welcome back everyone associated with Canford and look forward to a happy, stimulating and inspiring term.
Membership Details
The Club has a thriving membership. Its popularity is no surprise given its delightful setting and relaxed atmosphere.
Currently there is room more members and there is no joining fee. Those wishing to join should contact the Secretary, Steve Ronaldson (sjr@canford.com) for more details.
Guests who wish to play on the course may only do so with a member and only after purchasing a guest ticket. Very few societies are admitted to the course, usually only those with which members are associated. Members who do not hold a current handicap certificate are encouraged to gain one through their participation in competitions.
When vacancies occur, new members are invited to be 'played-in' by a committee member or a club representative. This is to demonstrate an adequate degree of competence and familiarity with course etiquette and to support the player's handicap certificate, where they already hold one.
