Our catering is run entirely in-house and our highly trained chefs source as much produce locally as they can to offer a variety of healthy, nutritious options for breakfast, lunch and supper. Canford supports and caters for all allergens and dietary requirements, with servery dishes clearly individually labelled with key allergen ingredients. On offer is a wide and diverse range of meals, this includes fresh homemade seasonal soups, two freshly cooked hot options (any meat option is red tractor accredited) including a healthy/wellbeing choice plus jacket potato bar, salad/sandwich bar, hot and cold dessert bars, vegan/vegetarian choice as standard plus catering for any other intolerances. In addition, all pupils can help themselves to an array of fresh fruit and water throughout the day. Our catering team meets regularly with the Pupil Food Committee to share ideas and suggestions and also work closely with departments such as sports to ensure menus support training and match days nutrition needs. They also liaise closely with our Health Centre team and House staff to ensure that all pupils are eating well balanced diet.
