We are delighted to be running our next Open Morning at Canford on Saturday 22nd April and look forward to welcoming families interested in both 13+/14+ and Sixth Form entry.
School House
School House is one of the three original houses at Canford. In late October 2021 it relocated from the main building to a brand new purpose built boarding house at the top end of the campus, next to Court and Franklin boys' boarding houses. For more information about the development, please see the document below which was sent to all current School House parents in February 2021.

An OC, Ben re-joined Canford as a Design and Technology Teacher in January 2018, after 12 years in the Army; retiring as a Major from the Rifles. Unsurprisingly, he runs the Army Section of the school’s vibrant CCF, enjoys a variety of adventurous pursuits and is an avid sportsmen, coaching rugby, hockey and cricket. Ben worked as a member of the School House tutor team since his return and took over as Housemaster in Summer 2020. He is married to Laura and has two young children. |
