Wimborne
Wimborne is named after Lord Wimborne, from whom Canford was bought in 1923 when it became a school. Originally housed in the main building, it moved to its current location in 1996 when it became the third day house. Wimborne occupies the ground floor of the ‘Monteacute/Wimborne’ building near the Manor House and is conveniently located close to the Music School, Theatre, Sports Centre and Tuck Shop.

Naomi joined Canford in 2019 as a geography teacher. She enjoys getting outdoors, whether it be field trips to Iceland, Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, or pursuing her main passions of surfing, skiing and running. She is also Head of Global Connections at Canford and loves seeing pupils grow in their experience and love for the wider world. She is married to Jamie, also a geography teacher and they have a lovable golden retriever called Bear, who gives great hugs in Hous. |
