Football

Football has increased in popularity at Canford over the last few years and it now sees the school putting out two, sometimes three senior boys XI’s. The ‘Oaks’ enter both Dorset County and ISFA competitions alongside a strong regular fixture list for all teams. The development of the players in the programme has seen OC’s go onto play at Semi-Professional level at clubs like Weymouth FC.

There are also football options for junior pupils through the school activities and clubs programme with Futsal (Indoor 5-a-side) and a separate Girls Football Club being available to choose.
