The College - Canford Sixth Form
Canford School is one of the UK’s top co-educational boarding and day schools where pupil outcomes are outstanding, and we’re proud to be ranked No.1 in the region for A* at A Level.
This is an exciting time at Canford, as our brand new Sixth Form College facilities are opening up, affording our pupils access to beautiful community and social spaces.
Through our four core College elements - College Academics, College Experiences, College Life and College Futures - whether you are joining us as a boarder or a day pupil you’ll find a wide range of opportunities both within and beyond your studies to enhance your potential and ignite your aspirations. We want you to leave us equipped with the skills to thrive in the wider world, and our dynamic programmes will help you achieve this.
Our Sixth Form is a place where you can develop your skills, explore new talents, and truly flourish within a supportive and nurturing community.

“To build a community of open-minded people who are motivated to embrace learning in all its forms, and committed to making a difference to their own lives, and to the lives of others. Our exceptional education grants freedom to grow and creates opportunities for all to explore, to express and to excel.”
Our Mission
The College - Four Core Elements
A Level Curriculum taught by exceptional teachers at the forefront of academic excellence.
Opportunities to lead, explore your talents and be yourself in a warm and supportive community.
A community and culture to help you thrive. Wellbeing, Welfare and Support for Learning.
Leading Higher Education and Careers provision to empower you in making your dreams a reality.
The Sixth Form at Canford is critical as we prepare our pupils to make the transition from school to life beyond. Expectations and the personal development needs of 17-18 year olds preparing for a competitive world are very different to those of younger pupils, and the new College structure will allow for stage-specific guidance, appropriate expectations and demands.
