Canford 100

2023 marks the centenary of Canford’s foundation, on 15th May 1923. Our main celebrations are being held to coincide with this date during the second half of the academic year. A Foundation Service in Salisbury Cathedral took place on Friday 28th April and a Proms in the Park style garden party is imminent on Sunday 25th June. 

We share our anniversary with Stowe School as part of the same schools group and a number of sports fixtures have taken place over the year between our schools which will culminate at Henley Royal Regatta where alumni from the two schools will participate in a Centenary Row Past. Our new Canford film celebrating our centenary has been launched. A book celebrating the centenary and other merchandise is now available to purchase.

We are very grateful to the Old Canfordian Society which is supporting and subsidising a number of events and projects.
